How do I view Assessment Series data for a student who I did not assign an assessment to?
This article is intended only for customers and partners using the Assessment Series.
Assessment Series data follows students between classes within a school. This means that any teacher in a school can see their students' existing Assessment Series data and proctor assigned assessments for students. Additionally, if two teachers schedule the same assessment for a shared student, that student will only receive one copy of the test, which will be visible to both teachers.
In order to view Assessment Series data for a student, the student must be enrolled in an active class where you are listed as a teacher. To view a student's data, click Assessment Series (the gauge) in the menu on the left and then select the Analyze Data tab to see all data available for students in your class(es). You can also select the Growth Data tab to compare your students' Pre- to Mid-year and Pre- to Post-assessment data.
You can use the filters at the top to filter the data by class. To do so, click the dropdown under My Classes to select a class and then click Apply to view that class's data. Additionally, you can only view data for one specific assessment (e.g. the 6th Grade Pre-Assessment) at a time, so you may need to use the Assessment Type and Assessment Grade filters to view data for different assessments.
Please note, you can also proctor student assessments for your classes from the Student Status page, regardless of whether you scheduled the assessments.
ℹ️ If you are an administrator with access to school or district-wide data, you can access Assessment Series data by clicking Administrator Data (the graph) in the menu on the left. From there, you can view Assessment Series data for each grade level and assessment (e.g. 9th Grade Pre-Assessment) as well as growth data and individual students' performance.
