How can I exempt a student from an Assessment Series test or the Free Reading Assessment?

You can exempt students from an Assessment Series test or the Free Reading Assessment. This will remove the assessment from the student's account so they will not see or be able to access the assessment. This is particularly useful if a student joins a class later in the year.

To exempt a student from an assessment:

1. Click My Classes (the teacher icon) and choose the Assessment Series tab
2. Find the assessment for the class the student belongs to
3. Click View Student Status in the Actions column
4. Locate the student on the list and click the three stacked dots on the far right
5. Choose Exempt and confirm by clicking Exempt Student (you should see a message in the top right corner of the screen if you successfully exempted the student)

If you need to add the student back to the assessment, you can do so by clicking Un-Exempt in the Actions column for that student.
