Do CommonLit 360 reading lessons have related media? Discussion questions?

Every CommonLit 360 unit has an assignment called “Related Media Exploration.” In these assignments, students analyze videos, graphs, and other types of media. These assignments are a much more robust version of the Related Media that is included in every regular CommonLit Library lesson.

Every CommonLit 360 unit has a whole-class Discussion Lesson that is designed to help students prepare for the end-of-unit writing assignment. In this lesson, students practice a discussion skill, prepare for the discussion using a graphic organizer, and participate in a discussion about multiple unit texts.  

Discussion prompts are also included at the end of many CommonLit 360 reading lessons. These are called “Quick Partner Discussions.” You can find these on the PDF versions of many reading lessons.
