My assignment moved to Completed. Can my students still access it?

CommonLit does not close assignments to student submissions regardless of the due date or the status.

Currently, assignments move to Completed when all students have submitted, their submissions have been graded, and scores have been released, regardless of due date. However, assignments where the due date has passed, but all submissions have been graded and scores have been released will also be included.

If an assignment moves to Completed before all students have submitted, students who have not completed the assignment can still see and submit it. When a student submits an assignment with multiple choice and/or short answer questions, the assignment will move back to Ready for Grading where you can grade their responses.

Please note that if it is past the due date, students will be marked with a late submission.
