Currently, CommonLit does not support posting individual student/small group assignments to Google Classroom streams. If you are interested in seeing CommonLit add this ability, send an email to feedback@commonlit.org.
As a workaround, you can use the "Copy Link" feature on CommonLit's share assignment window to copy the assignment link of a small-group assignment. Then, you can manually create a corresponding small-group assignment in Google Classroom assigned to the same students and attach CommonLit's assignment link to it.
