Students can reset their passwords using 2 methods.
The first is to have their teacher go to My Dashboard > Manage Classes > Manage Students and click the RESET button for that student. The student will then need to log in with their CommonLit username (visible on the Manage Students page) and their reset password. The reset password is case sensitive - students need to use all caps.
If reset password does not work for your students, please try typing in their username and password for them to ensure they have not mistyped.
The second way students can reset their password is by sending themselves a reset password email from the forgot your password page. This will only work for students who have a correct, working email on their profile. Students should enter their own email (not their teacher's email) on the reset password page.
Teachers who do not wish to be bothered out of school hours with reset password requests should instruct students to include an email on their profile so they can use this option.
Note: Some school servers will block our reset password emails to students.
