What do the colors mean on the assignment report?

On the Assignment report, you will see various color-coding used to indicate how a student did.

Colors on the Assignment report fall into four quartiles:

  • Green: 76-100%
  • Yellow: 51-75%
  • Orange: 26-50%
  • Red: 0-25%

A student's total score or an item's average score is color-coded according to the above quartiles.

When looking at an individual item response, correct answers are green (100%), incorrect answers are red (0%), and omitted part b results are gray. Orange multi-select answers mean students got one of the two answers correct (50%). Short answers can be graded on a scale from 0 to 4, and are shown in shades of blue on the Assignment report.
