How do I exempt a student from a Unit Skills Assessment?

This article is intended only for CommonLit School Essentials PRO Plus customers and partners.

If you have already assigned the Unit Skills Assessment to your entire class, but you only want certain students to complete it, you can exempt the other students from the assessment. Doing so will remove it from their My Assignments page.

To exempt a student from a Unit Skills Assessment, find the assessment on your Assignments page, and then click the “Dashboard” button to view the Student Status list. From there, find the student’s name, click on “Actions”, then click “Exempt” to exempt that student from the assessment.
