There are a few reasons you might not be able to sign up with a class code:
You are typing the class code wrong - Double check you have entered the class code correctly. If you're not sure, retype the class code or ask your teacher for help.
You are trying to join an archived class - If your teacher has archived the class you are trying to join, you will not be able to join using the class code.
You already have an account - If you try to sign up using a class code and an email, and that email is already connected to another CommonLit student account, you will not be allowed to sign up for a new account using that same email address.
Instead, you should:
- Log in to your CommonLit account using your username and password or clicking "Log in with Google" or "Log in with Clever" if that's how you logged in before.
- Go to your My Account and Classes page.
- Click Add another class code.
