Can I still teach a novel unit even though it’s in a lower grade now? Did anything change in the novel unit besides the grade level?

The updated novel units in CommonLit 360 Edition 2.0 for Middle School attend to grade-level progressions in a way that CommonLit 360 Edition 1.0 for Middle School did not, accounting for academic rigor and reading stamina, and accelerating student learning by challenging them with new topics-content and grade-appropriate texts. The Edition 2.0 novel selections are more appropriately challenging for each grade level.
