How can I view data of a student who was removed from my class or moved between classes?

When a student is removed from a class manually or by Clever sync, CommonLit preserves a copy of the student's data from the removed class on the student's Individual Student Performance Page.

Assignments will not move with students between classes, even if the same assignment exists in the new class, but the assignment averages and short answer responses and feedback, as well as pre-assessments, will be preserved on the individual student performance page.

Find a removed student's Individual Student Performance page by going to Manage Classes > Options > Manage Students > Removed Students table > View Data.

From this table, you can also add a student back to a class, or delete their association with the class and data in the class forever.

On the Individual Student Performance page, view "All Classes" to see data from current and former classes or click on a class name beneath the "Former Classes" header to see data from a particular former class the student was removed from.
