What happens to my Clever-linked classes if my school disconnects with CommonLit on Clever?
When a district stops sharing with us on Clever, we automatically unlink your classes from Clever and archive them. To restore them:
- Go to Manage Classes.
- Click on the Archived Classes link near the bottom of the page.
- Un-archive the classes you want to restore.
Students will no longer be able to log in with Clever, but they will be able to log in with their CommonLit username and password. To help them, go to your class's Manage Students page, look up students' usernames, and reset their CommonLit passwords if necessary.
Alternatively, if students have Gmail addresses on their accounts, they can Log in with Google. You can also manually add student emails to their accounts from the Manage Students page for their class.
