What information does a student need to create an account?

The student should first know the CommonLit class code for the class in which they want to register. (As their teacher, you can find the class code for each of your classes on your Manage Classes page.) Students should then go to www.commonlit.org/en/enroll and enter the code.

From there, they just have to fill out a simple form. They will need to enter their first name and last name, which CommonLit will use to automatically generate a username for their account. They will also need to indicate their grade level and create a password. The email address field is optional as students are not required to have emails on their CommonLit accounts.
