How can I save texts for later?

While browsing or viewing a text, you may decide that it's a good fit for a later date. You can choose to Favorite a text and go back to it later when you wish to assign it. You can also use the "Start date" feature to assign texts now that students won't see on their accounts until the Start date.

When you click into a text from the library, above the title and to the right of the "Assign" and "Download PDF" buttons, you will see Favorite with a heart icon. Click "Favorite" to save the text to your Favorites tab. Alternatively, from the library, you can click the heart icon in the top right corner of a text thumbnail to favorite the text.

Later, when you want to assign the text, go to the CommonLit Library and click "Favorites" in the top right corner. You will then see all of your "favorite" texts saved on this page.

If you wish to remove a text from your "Favorites," go to the "Favorites" page and click the heart and minus sign icon in the top right corner of the text thumbnail.

Please note: it is not currently possible to favorite Target Lessons within the library.
