How do I complete the Assessment Series test my teacher assigned me?

Once the Test Date has arrived for the assessment your teacher scheduled for your class, you will see the test appear on your My Assignments page under your Assessments To Do section.

Click on the "BEGIN ASSESSMENT" button to open the test. Then, you will see a window pop up with general instructions about the test.

Once you've read these instructions, click the "GOT IT" button and then you'll be able to begin reading the passages and answering the questions. You will see this window each time you refresh your page or re-open your test.

The assessment includes three reading passages and multiple choice questions. Once you have carefully read the three texts and answered each question to the best of your ability, click "CONTINUE" on the last question. Then click "SUBMIT ASSESSMENT" once and then again a second time to officially turn in your assessment to your teacher.

If there are any questions you did not answer, CommonLit will let you know, and you'll be able to go back and answer any missed questions by clicking the "BACK TO ASSESSMENT" button.
