The Administrator Data Dashboard told me I had data for an assignment, but I clicked the assignment name and the assignment dashboard is not showing any data? Why can't I see data in the administrator assignment dashboard?
If you load an Assignment Dashboard in the Administrator Data Dashboard and don't see the data you expect, here are a few things to consider that could impact the results.
The Assignment Dashboard is filterable by date range, school, and version of the assignment. Be sure your date range is accurate and you are not filtering by the wrong school.
Most likely, you need to choose a different version of the final assignment from the version dropdown in the top-right of the Dashboard. The default is to show you the most recent version, but your data might belong to an older version of the assessment.
If your teachers assigned a lesson without the final assessment, you will see that reflected in the number of student assignments shown in the status charts and the school downloads. However, there will be no overall scores or standards averages for these students.
The default is to show you data for all students rather than grade-level data when you load the assignment dashboard. However, if you were previously filtering by grade-level data ("9th Graders Only" in the above image) on a different assignment, you might be over-filtering. Try switching from grade-level data to "All Students" in the data toggles in the top-right.
Finally, you need to filter by one school to view student-level data. If you are on a district-wide Assignment Dashboard, use the Standards section to see which schools assigned the lesson, and filter by ONE of those schools to generate a downloadable school report with individual student data. While you can filter the Assignment Dashboard by multiple schools, the downloadable school report is only available when filtering by one school at a time.
