I have changed schools and want to change my subscription email address, but the website won't allow it. How do I update my email?
CommonLit requires the first educator in a school or district email us at help@commonit.org to verify their school or district's educator emails.
If you have switched schools, please go to your My Account page, edit the school under your Schools section, and attempt to update your email.
If you are not allowed to update your email, this is likely because you are the first educator in your new school or district to sign up with us. Please email us at help@commonlit.org so we can approve your new email.
If you are switching schools but do not know your new email or placement yet and want to switch your account to use a temporary personal email, please email us as well so we can verify the switch. We will only do so for confirmed educator accounts.
