Can I change the point value of a CommonLit lesson shared to Google Classroom?
All CommonLit lessons are worth 100 percentage points on CommonLit.
When you choose to post an assignment and export scores to your Google Classroom grade book, you can customize the total point value sent to Google.
To do so, edit the value in the Points section of the Share Assignment window to send a custom maximum points value to Google. The default is set to 100.
Please note, assignments shared to Google Classroom without anything in the Points field will be marked as "Ungraded" in Google Classroom, and students' scores will not be able to export properly to your Google Classroom gradebook.
However, you have the option to edit the point value in Google Classroom after the assignment has been created in CommonLit.
