What can I edit in a digital CommonLit 360 lesson?

You can edit the text of the Lesson Overview on a digital Reading or Writing Lesson. The Lesson Overview is the first thing a student sees when beginning this type of lesson. This is a good place to add class-specific instructions or directives.

To edit the Lesson Overview, click Explore Assignment for the lesson on the Unit Overview page. This will take you to the preview page for the lesson. From here, click Assign This Lesson, and then scroll to the bottom and click on Customize Directions (optional). This will open the Lesson Overview, where you can edit, add, or delete instructions you would like your students to see when they begin the lesson.
