How can I exempt students from a Free Reading Assessment?
Teachers can exempt students from the Free Reading Assessment. This is particularly useful if a student joins a class later in the year, or if the student belongs to multiple classes for one teacher. It may also be useful for teachers who have classes with students at multiple grade levels.
To exempt a student from the Free Reading Assessment, go to the Student Status page for your class's assessment by clicking on Student Status for the Free Reading Assessment from your Assignments page.
On the Student Status page, find the student you would like to exempt, and then click "Actions" on the right-hand side of the page. From there, click "Exempt" from the drop-down to exempt the student from the Free Reading Assessment.
