How do I transfer ownership of a Canvas class?

You can transfer ownership to any teacher who is shared by Canvas. You will not be able to transfer ownership to teachers who manually joined your Canvas class.

To transfer ownership of a Canvas class, go to your Manage Classes page. From there, click Options > Manage Co-Teachers.

In the Manage Teachers window, click the Make Owner link next to your co-teacher's name.
