Can I change the name of a ClassLink class?

This article is intended only for partner districts using ClassLink. ClassLink is available to schools and districts who purchase CommonLit School Essentials or CommonLit School Essentials PRO. While ClassLink controls your class name, you can nickname your ClassLink classes.

To nickname a class, go to your Manage Classes page and click the Options dropdown for the ClassLink class. Then, click Class Nickname.

A window with your class's information will appear where you can edit the Class Nickname, then click Update to see that nickname throughout the website. The class's original name will be saved in the CommonLit database for data integrity purposes.
